Benefits of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture Tools

Throughout all of nature runs a vital life force energy referred to in Chinese culture & medicine as “Qi”. Qi flows through our bodies, along specific energetic channels & meridians that correlates to the healthy functioning of our internal organs to promote Vitality.

Acupuncture is an ancient healing modality developed over 3000 years ago in China, predating western medicine. It is one of many treatment methods within Traditional East Asian Medicine that essentially balances, & harmonizes energy within the body. Furthermore, acupuncture promotes circulation of blood throughout the body to ensure optimal organ function & health.

Any Obstruction to this flow of Qi & blood, can result in pain, pathology, or illness. Acupuncture is a healing method & practice whereby fine, sterile needles are inserted at specific points along these energetic pathways in order to promote the release of both mental & physical stress allowing for the free flow, movement, & balance of energy & blood within our bodies.

Thus, Acupuncture is used to treat every health related issue by it’s innate ability to reduce inflammation, promote circulation of blood, destress the mind & body, & balance energy & hormones.

Acupuncture not only helps to release tension, but has also been clinically proven to reduce the primary stress hormone Cortisol. [www.healthcmi.com/Acupuncture-Continuing-]
